Blankenship Consulting exists for one reason: to help nonprofit organizations do good work better. We partner with mission-driven leaders to provide the expertise, leadership, and strategic support they need to build stronger organizations and make a measurable impact in the communities they serve.

About the Principal: Jennifer Blankenship is a results-driven nonprofit strategist and consultant with 15 years of hands-on experience leading and supporting 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) organizations. As principal of Blankenship Consulting LLC, she serves as a trusted partner to nonprofit boards, executives, and leadership teams — stepping in as a fractional Executive Director or interim CEO, leading executive and staff recruiting efforts, facilitating board and staff retreats, and providing strategic consulting across a wide range of organizational needs.

Jennifer works with clients across a broad cross-section of causes, geographies, sizes, and complexity — from grassroots startups to established organizations navigating significant transitions. She brings a rare combination of operational depth and strategic vision, with particular expertise in leadership transitions, organizational assessment, board development, systems improvement, and compensation and benefits benchmarking.

Fueled by a deep passion for people, pets, and the planet, Jennifer is energized by organizations advancing mental health awareness, animal welfare, foster youth, environmental justice, and equity for women, minorities, and underserved communities. She believes the nonprofit sector is one of the most powerful forces for good in the world — and considers it a privilege to help these organizations operate at their very best.

A graduate of Duke University’s Nonprofit Management program and a member of the American Society of Association Executives, Jennifer also draws on 10 years of professional radio broadcasting — bringing sharp communication skills, an instinct for connection, and a genuine ability to engage and inspire the people and organizations she works with. Her mission is simple: help nonprofits do good work better.
