What We Do

Blankenship Consulting provides purpose-driven organizations of all sizes with customized executive management and operational support. We specialize in providing interim-CEO and transition support, coaching start-up and volunteer-run groups, and guiding established organizations as they chart new directions.

Interim CEO

Blankenship Consulting provides bridge leadership and prepares organizations to work with the incoming permanent CEO. Organizations choose to hire interim CEOs for a variety of reasons ranging from needing an experienced leader to keep the ship afloat while a search committee takes the time it needs to find the right permanent CEO to the board wanting someone to implement major changes before a permanent CEO is brought on. Whatever your reason, Blankenship Consulting will help prepare your organization to work with the incoming permanent CEO while overseeing the day-to-day affairs of the organization and building the platform for the permanent successor.

Consulting

Blankenship Consulting believes that a successful nonprofit navigates the organization’s path toward a sustainable future by creating an effective governance structure with strong leadership, sound legal and financial management policies, and a plan that ensures adequate resources and people to advance its mission. Here at Blankenship Consulting we provide consulting and coaching services that address various pain-points experienced by our nonprofit clients and help them position their organizations for future success.

Nonprofit Virtual Assistant (NVA)

If your nonprofit’s board and volunteers are drowning in day-to-day tasks, you’ve come to the right place. Blankenship Consulting provides remote administrative and operational support to nonprofits in a flexible, affordable way. We enable you to secure the precise amount of administrative support you need right now, to adjust that support up or down over time, and to seamlessly supplement that support with strategic consulting as needed. It’s an incredibly efficient way to leverage your limited budget.

WHAT OTHERS SAY

During Jennifer's tenure our allied membership category has grown substantially to the point that it is the second highest of all twenty two California AIA chapters; she is primarily responsible for this success. Her skills are such that she merits consideration to be a director or an executive of an association. I recommend that she be given thoughtful and strong consideration for a position in association management, administration, sales, or marketing.

Jennifer Blankenship is organized, efficient, and delivers high-quality work products with grace and professionalism. I worked with her when I was President of the Yolo County chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and would unequivocally hire her again to help further non-profit priorities or other work.
